INTRODUCTION
Nate Larson and Marni Shindelman have been involved in ongoing collaboration since summer 2007. Our current project, Semaphore, translates Facebook status updates and Twitter tweets into Semaphore flag code in public locations, echoing the information transmitted online to the physical public. Our previous project, Witness: A Psychic Collaboration, reinterpreted US Government experiments in psychic espionage, first enacted and disbanded during the Cold War and later revived during the Bush Administration.
